BEFORE USE
! Remove all packaging from the appliance.
! If you intend to iron with spray or steam,
turn the Select Knob (7) to the «PRESS»
position. Open the water tank cover (4) by
pushing the Select Knob.
! Fill the tank (5) with water through the open-
ing (3). Use the measuring jug for conve-
nience and ease.
Note: If your area has hard water, we recommend you use
cold boiled water. Hold the iron in horizontal
direction and then move the iron from front to back
for about 30 seconds so that anti-calc resin can purify
water effectively.
! Prior to first use iron a clean old piece of cotton cloth to make
sure the sole plate and the water tank are absolutely clean
(see subsection «Steam ironing»).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Place the iron into a vertical position.
2) Insert the power plug into the mains supply
outlet.
3) The fabric setting «ÐÅÆÈÌÛ» and « »
light in blue on the display (8), at the same
time, the colour changeable indicators (10)
at two sides of reservoir light in blue.
4) Turn the Select Knob (7) to the Dry iron position « » (see
subsection «Select Knob Functions»).
5) Press the « » indicator on the display (see Figure B) to set
the fabric type according to recommended temperature settings
(see the manufacturer’s label). Allow the iron to be heated up
until the Fabric Setting indicator light stops blinking and the buzzer
beeps.
Note: During operation of the appliance the light indicator
(10) will light up and turn off periodically; this is
normal and not a malfunction.
Select Knob Functions
Dry ironing
Dry ironing can be used at any temperature setting.
To do this the Select Knob (7) must be turn to the Dry iron
position « ».
Steam ironing
If you intend to use the steam function, allow the iron to heat
to the required temperature level then turn the Select Knob (7) to
the desired steam output.
